Grown with Extraordinary Care 

Our matcha is cultivated on small mountain tea farms at elevations of 300–500 meters in the cool highlands of Shizuoka, Japan. These farms do not use synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Several weeks before harvest, the tea bushes are shaded to slow growth and intensify chlorophyll, sweetness, and amino acid development. Only the finest young leaves are selected.

After harvest:

• Leaves are gently steamed to preserve freshness and prevent oxidation
• Stems and veins are removed
• The leaves become tencha
• Tencha is cold-stored at 41°F (5°C) to deepen sweetness and umami while softening bitterness
• Finally, the leaves are stone-ground into an ultra-fine powder

The result is an exceptionally rich, smooth, and nutritionally dense matcha experience.
