PROMISE - Medium Dark roast tasting notes: Dark chocolate, almond, orange blossom honey

Promise is from a family farm in Fraijanes, Guatemala. The Bosch family has been producing coffee at this Finca San Antonio farm for three generations. Sustainability is the core for this farm's agricultural management... this is why it has been herbicide and insecticide free since 2014! All the coffee produced in this farm is grown in an agroforestry model that ensures water, flora and fauna conservation.

Promise is carefully medium-dark roasted to a dark brown color, not charcoal. You won't find any oily, sweaty beans here! If you like Starbucks you won't like this... 

With an elevation ranging from 5,250 to 5,750 feet above sea level, Finca San Antonio stands in one of the highest points of Fraijanes region. This elevation not only qualifies the coffee as the best quality in Guatemala, Strictly Hard Bean (SHB), but also ensures that it is one of the finest coffees in the world.

Variety matters! This is why this family farm only grows Arabica coffee. Most of the varieties grown are traditional ones, including pache, caturra, tekisic and yellow catuaí.

PROMISE is excellent for espresso drinks and if you typically add a creamer to your coffee. 

One 12 oz bag = about 25-30 8 oz cups of coffee.

Brewing recommendations: Use clean, chemical-free water with some mineral content. Freshly grind your coffee beans to match your brewing method using a burr grinder. Use boiling hot water.

Keep brewing equipment clean. Store coffee beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

The tasting notes are the natural expressions of the plant with proper roasting - no flavor has been added.
