Three Treasures White Tea: Sun-Dried (big leaf) - Aged 6 Years!

Flavor: White grapes, honeysuckle nectar, sugarcane-like sweetness, vaguely citrus or lemongrass, white peony, creamy, light bodied, soft, hints of fresh nuts, and touch of malt, long lingering finish.

Worth mentioning: I have found this tea to be exceptionally complex for a white tea and can even last as many as 14 infusions when carefully prepared gong fu style. You'll notice a vibrant mouth-feel.

WHITE TEA is the original "Scholar's Tea" known for its delicate fragrance, smooth palate and the calm, yet revitalizing energy it promotes.

The Story Of This Tea:

Technically this is a Yun Kang #10 varietal tea growing in Jingmai area (Lincang County). The leaves were picked and processed in early Spring. The Three Treasures name was given due to it’s EXCEPTIONAL aroma and fragrance worth noting in three stages: dry leaf, wet leaf, and liqueur in the cup.

Simple hand processing:

The tea leaves are picked and then wilted briefly before being placed in the sun for natural drying. There is no pan frying or rolling in the processing thereby bringing forth a natural sweetness without any astringency (unless boiling water is used). The naturally sweet taste and lively feeling in the mouth is memorable for hours after sipping.

These beautiful tea leaves brew up significantly louder (and slightly sharper) in its nuances than Silver Needle with the robustness of Peony.

Grown naturally without the use of pesticides or fertilizers!

Brewing advice - 

Water temperature: 170 degrees (far below boiling)

Number of infusions: 4 to 12. Each infusion creates a unique flavor profile.
